Some background info.
Hi, I am Dr. Maharaja SivaSubramanian N. Blogger, Coach, Consultant, Speaker, Trainer. And also a human being who has had experiences and exposure of my own share of success by working various frameworks (both created by others and designed by me)
And yes, here’s a disclaimer too. This is part of my own experience, education and all the perspectives coming from there. And very much subjective to changes which otherwise I would label as evolution as I evolve. So, take it for that, another perspective and another way of looking at life. If you feel it can be empowering and you are ready to take responsibility for the consequences, then give it a try. And again, absolutely not a substitute for professional help.
Become really good to become the best.
Yes, if you want to be considered the best, then become really good. Become so valuable that what you do is set as a benchmark for others to aspire for, to grow to.
What inspired me to pen the thoughts on this topic is a call which I just had with a person who called me seeking some outsider perspective. More so, about how he can find more motivation to live life in a better way, on how to be successful.
So, it’s about being able to look at how to become really successful? How can you be considered to be the best, or one of the best?
One answer, put in the effort. And really good effort. Not just some, I tried, I did my best. What if your best is not the best for the results?
I am going to use the example of sales and buying. So, there are people who are buying and no one seems to be buying from you? Then,
– Are you offering a valuable offer, product, or service, etc?
– Are you and your offer really good in terms of value inside, and also value packaged, that people perceive it to be valuable?
– If you are solving a problem through your offer, is it really good at solving the problem?
– If you are fulfilling a need through your offer, is it really good at fulfilling that need?
– And, how course about few other things like, how well are you in customer experience, customer satisfaction, customer engagement, customer education, etc.
The above is an example of being good with reference to certain things, especially concerned with sales. Similarly, look at different contexts and scenarios including wealth, relationships, health, etc. The key theme is to ensure that you are really good to come out successfully. Especially in areas where the competition is tough and plays a big role.
So, take some time, and think, reflect upon, and come up with your own vision, strategy, tactics, execution, etc which are aligned to help you win. And also, which need to be fine-tuned from time to time. And become really good at executing and following through, that you end up becoming the best, and/or one of the best.
