I think you will spend 341 seconds reading this post
Yes, in life we do have setbacks and we do have periods of break. What has it got to do with winning like a big player? Yes, that’s true and that’s you if you consider the game of life and you being a big-time player. (If you think you are not and being too small in the mask of being humble, it’s a different story and a different post). However, this is all about you being a really big player and what your setbacks and resting got to do with winning the ultimate big game of life.
Hey, it’s Dr. Maharaja SivaSubramanian N here. Blogger, Coach, Consultant, Speaker and Trainer. And let’s get on with the topic diving deep right now. I slept, I got up, I slept again and then got up, and then had a cup of coffee. And then I received.
It’s my rant.
Hey, this is my rant. A part of my own experience, education and all the perspectives coming from there. And very much subjective to changes which otherwise I would label as evolution as I evolve. So, take it for that, another perspective and another way of looking at life. If you feel it can be empowering and you are ready to take responsibility for the consequences, then give it a try. And again, absolutely not a substitute for professional help.
The rules of the game are relevant.
Some of the rules, the game has players, a lot of them. Each player has a position within the game. And there is definitely a manager or coach who guides the team. And then there is you, the big time player of the game.
Chances will be given and so will be taken away.
Yes, there will be a lot of times, when you will get lots of chances. And, in the same manner, a lot of times, lots of chances will be taken away. That is what is called as “you’re not playing in this game”. Now it’s for you to ask yourself how you choose to label it? Are you labeling it as a setback, rejection, failure, bad luck, poor fate, etc as usually people do, or are you labeling it as a resting period, or break to practice for the bigger games that you are going to be called on to play? If you choose to play responsibly, then there are going to be lot of big games to play, and if you choose to play otherwise, the penalty box, and/or the suspension/rejected/injured lists are always waiting.
Just like horses for races or horses for course, the same way, big players for bigger games.
So, if by any remote chance or by a wide chance, if you consider yourself as a big player who wants to win, and also help the team win, and so do for the audience, game, etc and all to win, then you need to also be aware that you are there for the big games. You cannot be overplayed for smaller games that you become unavailable for the bigger games, out of injury or fatigue or low energy.
And what are the smaller games?
And yes, most of the smaller games have themes where you need to put in too much of an effort or work on the disempowering shades or unhealthy versions of needing others approval, allowing yourself to be judged a lot, selling yourself short, losing yourself, losing your value, be a people pleaser, forget or stray too much away from your core, make yourself or your passion and or purpose unimportant, forget to share the gift of who you truly are and have to offer the world from that place rather focusing on everything else, and many other stuff which can ultimately steal the opportunity to play your bigger game. Most of those games are also labeled at times as rejections, failures, setbacks, etc.
And what about the so-called enemies, opposers, and naysayers?
Simple, they are just showing you, your flaws which you can either choose to work upon or become even more stronger on your strengths that these flaws no longer matter. And also, people who are guiding you to choose wisely about the games you play and the people with whom you play the games with. And also, about becoming prepared to play the game, for even it is a game you got to play, you will end up badly hurting yourself and others if you are not adequately prepared. So, in a bigger scheme of things, they are also very much part of your game and indirectly your team.
What you focus on then?
That’s a question you got to answer. If given a choice, what will you choose to focus? If nothing matters, all the shitty or disempowering or garbage stuff of the past, and all the unwanted worries and similarly disempowering and garbage stuff of the future, if none of that matters, what will you choose to focus on then? What will you give yourself an opportunity, a chance, a choice to go deep within, and maybe meditate for a moment or two or even twenty minutes for that matter, what will it be? What will you like to focus upon, then give your attention, and then put in all your energy to create?
To be continued.
It ain’t over till the last breath, and unless and until the referee of life blows the whistle of finish, it definitely ain’t over. Till death does you and your power to dream and make it your reality apart, you have got all the chances, to redeem, to replenish, to recharge, to re-train, to re-focus, and all other RE- and to get on to the highest level of the game you can always play.
